East Omak Elementary students showed incredible determination and talent at the State Math Masters Competition in Moses Lake this past weekend!
Our 4th- and 5th-grade Math Is Cool teams competed against some of the top young mathematicians from across Washington State after months of dedicated practice, teamwork, and problem-solving.
✨ The 5th-grade team — Finn Taylor, Zachary McCuistion, Maddox Burelo, and Kimber McCoy — earned 101 team points and placed 11th in the highly competitive “E” Division.
The 4th-grade team — Willow Diaz, Pradipta Adhikari, along with 3rd graders Jason Dodge and Paxton Couture — earned 84 team points and placed 6th in the “E” Division.
These students represented East Omak Elementary with pride, perseverance, and a love for learning. We are incredibly proud of all they accomplished this season!
A huge thank you to Kacie Nelson, Ms. Ingram, Mr. Wolf, and Mrs. Hendrickson for their support, flexibility, and teamwork in helping make this season such a success. Great things happen when we work together!
