Pioneer Pride Shines on the Mat!
Good morning, Pioneer fans!
This past weekend, we hosted an incredible wrestling tournament right here at home, and the energy was electric! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our wrestlers—it made all the difference.
The results are in (check out the attachment for all the details), and we’re thrilled to share some exciting highlights:
Team Title Stays Home! Omak claimed the top spot, keeping the championship right where it belongs.
Outstanding Wrestler: Jessie Garcia wowed everyone and earned the prestigious Outstanding Wrestler award.
Freshman Phenomenon: Quinn Phillips made a splash in his first high school tournament, pinning an Okanogan senior in the finals to claim his first-ever tournament win!
It was a weekend of stellar performances, with younger wrestlers stepping up and veterans showing us why they’re the backbone of our team.
What’s Next? Most of the team will head to Cashmere next, while a select group of state returners will take on the challenge of the prestigious Tri-State Tournament.
Let’s keep the momentum going, Pioneer fans! Be sure to cheer on our wrestlers as they continue to make us proud on and off the mat. Go Omak!

Omak High School is Thankful.
Today was an opportunity for our Family and Consumer Science program to celebrate and serve our students. Local businesses donated food, and our Beginning Foods class, and our Baking and Pastries class worked all week to create desserts, cupcakes, and side dishes to be served to our students at lunch. Thank you so much to the following businesses for their support:
Gene's and 12 Tribes for the two turkeys
Omak Dodge for the two hams
Omak Grocery Outlet for baking supplies
Hometown Pizza for the 12 loaves of bread
The line to get a taste of Thanksgiving contained well over 150 students! Smiles were seen for the whole day. Well done Omak community and Thank you to May Riggan, FASCE Teacher.
