Miss Plakos’s Fourth Grade Writers Take Learning Outside! ✏️🌿
Some of East's fourth graders took their writing lessons out to the garden last week! These classes have been working hard on parts of speech, writing conventions, complete sentences, and grammar. Out in the sunshine, they met with Ms. Macy, the Okanogan County School Garden Coordinator, for a hands-on adjective writing activity. Students explored the garden using descriptive language to bring their surroundings to life—combining nature, creativity, and learning! 🌻📚
