🎉🧠 Math Masters in the Making! 🧠🎉
We are incredibly proud of our four East Omak Elementary fourth graders who are representing us at the Math Masters competition in Moses Lake tomorrow! 🏆 "Math is Cool Masters" is an invitation-only math competition in Washington state for students in grades 4-12. It's a one-day competition hosted by Academics is Cool. Top-scoring teams from a previous competition, the Math is Cool Championships, are invited to participate. The Masters competition includes both individual and team tests, a pressure round, mental math, and head-to-head College Bowl rounds.
These mathletes have continued sharpening their skills since taking 1st place in their division at the Wenatchee competition on March 28th. Their dedication, teamwork, and love for learning are truly inspiring! Also pictured are our two amazing 3rd grade alternates, who are geared up and ready to step in if needed. 🙌 Their enthusiasm shows that the future of math at East Omak is looking bright! A special shoutout to Mrs. Omer, who has been the 4th Grade Math is Cool advisor for many years. Her leadership, encouragement, and belief in her students continue to make a lasting impact!
Let’s cheer on our East Eagles as they tackle new challenges with confidence and SOAR to success!

🎉👏 East Omak Elementary is proud to celebrate our March Students of the Month! 👏🎉
Each month, students are selected by their teachers for consistently demonstrating our core values: showing respect, solving problems, making good decisions, and being safe. 🦅💙

🌟 Way to go, East Eagles! Keep soaring! 🌟

🌋🪨 Big shoutout to 4th grade teacher Tiarha Agee and a huge thank you to Penny Garrison from the Okanogan County School Retirees Association! 🎉
Penny stopped by East Elementary to present Ms. Agee with a $300 grant to support hands-on learning in geology. With this generous gift, students will get to explore geodes and volcanoes through two exciting, hands-on experiments. 🔍💥
We’re so grateful for community partners who support innovative teaching and inspire our young scientists to stay curious and keep exploring! 🧠💡
