Teachers Melissa Omer and Joneen Ingram, who recently led an exciting and impactful training session for staff on the RACES strategy for writing constructed responses! This fantastic method helps students craft organized, thorough answers by guiding them to restate the question, answer it, cite evidence from the text, explain their reasoning, and summarize their response. It’s an incredible tool for building strong writing skills across the board! Plus, Melissa and Joneen took it a step further by providing grade-specific resources to ensure alignment and continuity throughout all grade levels. 🎉🥳 Native American Day Fun in Ms. Ingram's Class! 🥳🎉
Our awesome 3rd graders in Ms. Ingram’s class had a blast celebrating Native American Day with an exciting mix of culture, tradition, and tasty treats! 😋🍞 They enjoyed delicious fry bread while showing off some incredible student presentations featuring ribbon skirts, jingle dresses, cradleboards, and drums! 🥁👗
The classroom was full of vibrant colors, beautiful music, and amazing stories as students shared their projects and pride in Native American heritage. 🌟💖 What an unforgettable day of learning and celebration!
