Winter Break
NO SCHOOL
Dec 23 - Jan 3

This weekend, our Omak Girls Wrestling team took on fierce competition at Eastmont High School in the annual Ladycat Kickoff tournament. With the event growing in size and intensity since last year, our athletes battled hard, showcasing incredible determination and heart!
Despite some challenges, including tournament changes and a smaller team, our wrestlers left it all on the mat. While we had only one placer this year, many of our athletes finished with just one loss—a testament to their grit and skill. Out of 15 eligible competitors, 10 of our dedicated wrestlers represented Omak, and the team secured 16th place, edging past Okanogan by a single point!
What stands out most is the resilience and positive spirit of these amazing athletes. Watching them grow as individuals and as a team is truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be prouder of their efforts.
Next up: The team is headed to Granger High School to compete in the Tony Saldivar Ironman Tournament. Let’s rally behind them and cheer them on as they continue to grow, compete, and make Omak proud! Go Omak Girls Wrestling!
