Thirty Omak High School students attended Scrubs Camp last Friday, where they learned about occupations in healthcare. Students were able to get hands-on experience and interact with professionals in the industry, including emergency services, lab, ultrasound, pharmacy, nursing, radiology, and medical and nursing assistants. Simulations included conducting an ultrasound on an actual patient, performing injections, drawing blood, and searching for various types of blood cells under a microscope.
