We are excited to celebrate Dr. Ryan Christoph, selected as one of just THREE finalists for the 2026 STEM Champion of the Year Award at NCW Tech Alliance’s 25th Annual Innovator Awards!
Dr. Christoph is recognized for his outstanding leadership in creating meaningful, career-connected STEM opportunities for Omak students. Through his dedication to Career and Technical Education (CTE), alternative education, and Native American Education, he continues to open doors for students to explore exciting futures in aviation, welding, forestry, healthcare, and more!

North is celebrating "October is AAC Awareness Month!" The staff at North Elementary are celebrating and supporting students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) by promoting communication access, inclusion, and student voice throughout the school day. Our Speech team has posted flyers throughout the hallways with tips and strategies for our staff on how to support students who use AAC. AAC can include high-tech options, such as speech-generating devices, or low-tech options, including picture symbols, gestures, sign language, and more—and we are committed to ensuring every student has opportunities to communicate, connect, and be heard. Together, we can make communication accessible, meaningful, and fun for everyone!

FFA Othello Fair 2026
Omak FFA brought 4 students to the Othello Community Fair and competed against over 500 students from across Washington. Our kids who competed were

They competed in Livestock Judging, Horse Judging, and Jamboree. Some highlights are Rayanee placing 15th in Livestock judging competing against over 500 students! Our team also placed 4th in the Jamboree!
