Aliah Stoumbaugh, a 3rd grader at East Omak Elementary, won an all-expenses-paid Caribbean cruise from the SchoolStore.com fundraiser East hosted in January. Aliah was one of five students in the country to be drawn for this amazing prize because of her participation in the school fundraiser!
On Monday, April 11th, Mrs. Schrock, Principal at East, Superintendent Porter, and Aliah's teacher, Ms. Hastin, presented Aliah, her 5th-grade sister, Rachel, and their parents (Aliah's dad was on Facetime) with this exciting news!
The SchoolStore.com fundraiser brought in over $10,000 that went directly to teachers to purchase supplies for their classrooms. East is beyond grateful to all the generous individuals who sponsored students by purchasing items or donating gift cards to teachers. East will be doing this fundraiser again next January!
